Encouregement

Lately two things have encoureged me. One is from Jermiah 1:17-19 and a friend of mine has sent...the other thing is also he has encoureged me with few months ago, and now GOD reminded me of that quotation from John MacArthur Jr.’s. Rediscovering Pastoral Ministry(for me it would be more proper to call it discovering pastoral minitry, since I am still only trying to figure out what in the world I am doing... )

1.
Jer 1:17 But you, dress yourself for work; arise, and say to them everything that I command you. Do not be dismayed by them, lest I dismay you before them.
Jer 1:18 And I, behold, I make you this day a fortified city, an iron pillar, and bronz walls, against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests, and the people of the land.
Jer 1:19 They wil fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you, for I am with you, declares the LORD, to deliver you."
2.
„Stick with your work. Do not flinch because the lion roars, do not stop to stone the devils dogs, do not fool away your time chasing the devils rabbits. Do your work. Let liars lie, let sectarians quarrel, let critics malign, let enemies accuse, let the devil do his worst, but see to it nothing hinders you from fulfilling with joy the work GOD has given you“
